The "Face to Face" screenprinting project will introduce the students at Rock View Elementary to the art of screenprinting. The project will bring professional artist Pepe Coronado to Rock View Elementary. Mr. Coronado will introduce students to screenprinting art through presentations of his own works and discussions of the ways that various artists have used the screenprinting medium to communicate. He will work with students, the art teacher, and parent volunteers, directing students in the creation of small individual self-portraits (faces) through a layered silkscreen process.
